This is on of our first sites. Although the look and feel has not changed much of the years, the underpennings went from Mambo 4.6 to Joomla 1.0 to Joomla 1.5.
AGMM is a Christian based motorcycle ministry head up by Pastor Woody Woods and his wife Kathy. They minster to all bikers from the casual weekender to the died in the wool hardcore 1%'er bikers.
Center for Pain Relief was one of my early super simplified static sites yet still using Joomla!.
Art By Christine Donker is my first "homegrown" Joomla Template project.
The artist, Christine Donker, was born in New York and presently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Christine started sculpting as a child, with very few art lessons, is basically self taught.
She no longer is utilizing her website to promote her art as word of moth has worked better for her. So the site may be down now.
White Dove Fellowship is a large non-denominatinal church in the suburbs of New Orleans. I was the staff Media Director for 12 years and a volunteer prior to that for 4 years. Since I've left, they have taken the sire offline.
I came on staff 1998. One of the first things I did was to gain control of the whitedove.org domain, which was being held by a former member of the church. Fortunately, I did not get a screen shot of that version of the site. Even by the standards of the day, it was quite simplistic. He coded it by hand and it showed.
The latest version shown in the thumbnail was my first site to move to Joomla 1.5. If you follow the link below, you can see the evolution of the WDF sites.
In 2009 I built this simple site for Crossfire church in Slidell, LA. A very simple website with an area for a blog. I occasionally update it for them. I also recently redesigned it for them and moved them from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5.
SJCALive.com is the webiste ministry of St. James Community Church. It has sence been turned over to a different developer and has a quite different look. I like mine better.
What started out as a simple conversation over an online dating site has now become MyDesigner.info for what is now Barbara Chauvin Designs (previously Divine Interior Design) and the owner, my bride to be!
We wanted this site to reflect a simple elegance. Joomlashack's Vintage template was the ticket. It had the design queues that really make this site reflect what Barbara does in homes.
I once had a vision of starting a website where church tech guys could come and expand and share their knowledge nd just fellowship. But soon found that it is a lot of work. Especially with the advent of such groups as CTANonline.com. I still believe that there is a need for a unified place for church tech info. This still may be the answer, but not at the moment.
Americam Massage Therapy Association - Louisiana Chapter. With this site was one of my branding contracts as well.
I created the look and feel of the site and translated it to other areas of the organizations such as a quarterly newsletter that I also produce.
WeldWear, Inc. was my first attempt at an eCommerce site. It was also the first time that I used VirtueMart.
FCC is one of my flagship sites. Although it is still being put populated with content it looks sharp with the demo content in place. It is also my second eCommerce site. But this time I used a different system. Dr. Kruse only had a few items to sell and I though I needed to put up a very simple commerce front end, but especially the back end as his staff is going to maintain it. It is also the first time using ECWID.
